LGBTQ Pride Prayer & Meditation Space

For Pride 2021, I created a prayer space where visitors to our sanctuary could reflect on and pray for their LGBTQ friends, family, and neighbors.

The walls of the space were created with hundreds of yards of rainbow ribbon suspended from a lightweight plastic dowel. One side of the center table featured a Pride blessing that visitors could take with them. On the other side, I framed statistics that highlighted current LGBTQ issues around the world.

To enhance the space, I curated a background music playlist of LGBTQ Pride song that lent themselves to quiet contemplation.
